Janaa has been busy. She is making bottle cap crayons to sell at the yard sale. I think she may end up with her own store that day.  This kiddo is tired of being the only child.  It has been so precious to watch her already love her brother.  I don't think there is anything she wouldn't do for him.

Janaa's Future Adventures with Caleb

When Caleb  comes home I want to talk to him and bond.  I know that he is little and he cannot talk. But, he is my brother and he will learn my voice. Next, I will play with my new little brother.  We will play with the baby toys and I will teach him how to play Patty-Cake. It is something that everyone has to know! After that I will show to my neighborhood friends and my school friends and Mommie's friends and their children. Later, I will show him my favorite parts outdoors.  The first thing is the woods. I want to show him the beautiful creek and the rushes.  The second thing are the specially handmade swings from Papa at the back of the house.   The final thing I want to do with Caleb is to sit with him at night and cozy up in a blanket and fall asleep.

Yard Sale July 20th

We have set a date for the Yard Sale.  It will be July 20th at my parent's house in Welcome (523 Welcome Arcadia Rd - Across from 1st Baptist of Welcome).

We have had some great donations and are so very thankful. If you have stuff that you'd like taken away...We will come get it. Your trash could help us get Caleb home.

Janaa will be selling lemonade, cupcakes and pound cake

We have t-shirts that will be ready next week. They will be available that day as well. (Although, you can get them much sooner if you like.  Will post pictures when we get them.)

Paperwork

I have never been so excited about paperwork! Yesterday we received documents from our agency to start filling out.  It brings back so many memories from starting Janaa's adoption.  It is fun to watch Janaa excited and trying to answer questions.

We are having a yard sale this summer to help raise some funds for Caleb's adoption.  If you have things that you would like to get rid of and wouldn't mind donating, we will come pick them up. We have never had much success with clothes and nick nacks, but other stuff seems to sell pretty well.

If you need stuff...There will be teacher supplies, a net book in perfect condition, and we are hoping to have some furniture.  I'll keep posted on what's available.
